Hello! My name is Selçuk Yeşiltaş. I was born on August 27, 1985, in Isparta.
I am married and have three children. I grew up in Istanbul, but part of me
always remained in Isparta, where I was born and raised. No matter how big
the city I live in, part of me will always be a village boy.
I grew up playing freely in the streets as one of two children in an average
civil servant family during the 1990s, which were Istanbul's most beautiful
and safest years. After completing my primary, middle, and high school
education in Istanbul, I did my military service in Van between 2005 and 2007.
After that, I worked in various jobs, got married in 2015, and became a
father of three children. Before entering the software industry, I worked
in the legal sector for about 15 years. Then, due to my interest and
curiosity in software, and with the support of a few friends in the industry,
I turned to this field. One of my reasons for doing so, and the most important
one, was that I wanted to do high value-added work in a digitalizing world.
I work on web development, software, and creative projects. I enjoy combining
design and software to create modern, aesthetic, and user-friendly experiences.
In my free time, I learn new technologies, contribute to open-source projects,
and work in different areas that enhance my creativity.
